Bremer County, Iowa – Lucas Faulkner was found guilty of murdering Devin Resh, 19, by multiple blows with a hatchet during a fishing trip on May 18, 2010. Judge Colleen Weiland presided over the case.
Dr. Taylor, a psychiatrist, examined the defendant and reported that Faulkner discussed hearing voices soon after the interview began. Taylor said that Lucas Faulkner’s type of “hearing voices” was not consistent with multiple personality disorder.
