Actress Halle Berry has Multiple Personalities?

Yes, but only in a new film titled Frankie & Alice.

Lionsgate’s Codeblack Films has acquired North American distribution rights to Halle Berry-starrer Frankie & Alice. The film will open in theaters on April 4, 2014. Berry also produced the film, along with Vincent Cirrincione.

Berry stars as an exotic dancer dealing with multiple personality disorder in the project, which also stars Stellan Skarsgard, Phylicia Rashad and Chandra Wilson.

Directed by Geoffrey Sax, Frankie & Alice opened in a limited release on December 10, 2010, for an awards run. Berry was nominated for a Golden Globe for best actress for her performance.

Critic Duane Byrge writing: “Overall, Frankie & Alice is a well-wrought psychological drama that delves into the dark side of one woman’s psyche.”

Superhero sequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier and crime drama Dom Hemingway are also slated to open in theaters on April 4, 2014.
